THE BIOCLIMATIC VILLA

AN ECO-DESIGNED ACCOMMODATION FOR A COMFORTABLE RETREAT

THE ACCOMMODATION

Nestled on the edge of the forest, our bioclimatic villa is an invitation to tranquillity, comfort, and disconnection.

Designed with an eco-responsible approach by Bruno Bazire and Pierre Pralus (French pioneers of bioclimatic architecture), our bioclimatic villa offers maximum comfort with minimal impact on the environment.
Here, there is no air conditioning and very little heating. Natural elements – sun, air, and water – regulate the indoor temperature.

A stay that faithfully follows the principles of ecotourism, for a genuine immersion, far removed from conventional offerings.

The comfortable rooms, decorated with natural materials, offer breathtaking views of the landscapes of La Reserve. Large windows allow in the light and make it possible to observe the spectacle of wildlife: Przewalski’s horses, bison, and red deer wandering just a few steps away.

An ideal haven for those who dream of a stay where one can breathe freely, slow down comfortably, and rediscover what the modern world has left behind: the essentials.
The bioclimatic villa is accessible in all seasons, allowing guests to enjoy La Reserve throughout the year.

Practical information

For families:

Should you wish to book a family room, please contact us in advance.
As family rooms are limited in number within the bioclimatic villa, we recommend checking their availability before finalising your booking.
Please note: the online booking system, which is based on a per-person rate, may allocate separate rooms to members of the same family.

For group bookings involving several families:

Please book each room separately, specifying the number of guests for each one.
Otherwise, our system will automatically assign rooms based on the number of available beds, without taking into account the family groupings.

Respect for wildlife:

In order to prevent any risk of transmission of contagious diseases to the animals of La Reserve (brucellosis, Aujeszky’s disease, echinococcosis, etc.), picnics and domestic animals are not permitted on the site.
Therefore, bringing food or drinks from outside is not allowed.

Natural swimming pond:

Reserved exclusively for guests staying at La Réserve, the natural swimming pond is accessible from June to September, every day from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

→ Its water is naturally filtered through the presence of plankton and contains no chemical products. To preserve this balance, sun creams and oils are strictly prohibited.
→Swimming is unsupervised: children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

A unique experience that our family did yesterday at the Reserve des Monts-Azur. We've seen the wild european buffalos, the deers and the wild horses that originated in Mongolia. This reserve is a 700 hectares with free wild animals roaming around the place without human help. They co-exist in this habitat. I was amazed to see them sooo close! It's a different experience than seeing animals on captivity. I recommend for families visiting this place:-)

Not far from the city, nice drive!
If you’re gonna take a carriage, you can see the animals closer and there’s no need to wear sneakers if you’re not gonna do the promenade.
Carriage: 1 hour
Walking: 1.5-2hrs

This is a great mini safari in the mountains! You can see horses and bisons in the wild. Walking tours or in the carriage. Very beautiful nature and nice staff.
Please note that it is usually cold in the mountains so dress appropriately (long sleeves and trousers are recommended).
You can have a very good lunch at moderate price in the restaurant. Book in advance.
Nice boutique with souvenirs.
Children liked the tour very much.
We did not stay for the night.

Very beautiful reserve with stunning views. You can observe the animals in peace. Don't forget the binoculars! The crepes were very delicious.
Attention for non-French speakers: we had asked before booking if an English-speaking tour guide is available and this was not a problem. Unfortunately, on-site this was limited to just a few sentences and we understood almost nothing. That was very unfortunate!

Where do i start... Amazing place, the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, great fun and spoke excellent English! We booked private carriage tour for our family. We loved seeing all the animals and learning a lot. We went to the restaurant for lunch, they had a great selection including children's menu. The food was beautiful and plentiful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone local or tourists! Thank you
