Your Adventure vacation consists of :
- a 2-hour guided walking safari to discover the fauna and flora
- a dinner around the barbecue, in the company of our guides and our other guests. Please respect the health instructions.
- one night in an Ecolodge
- a breakfast
- a visit to the outdoor Museum
Please note that there are no bathrooms in the Ecolodges.
Important : To prevent the transmission of contagious diseases to wildlife (brucellosis, aujeszky, echinococcosis, etc.), picnics and pets are not allowed on the site.
PRICES (guided safari on foot, welcome drink, dinner, night, breakfast) :
- 299€ for 1 lodge and 2 people, including the whole service, excluding drinks ordered in supplement
- 79 € per additional child or teenager, for the whole service, excluding drinks ordered in addition (children under 6 years old are not authorized in the lodges)
- For any allergies or food restrictions, please send us an email to contact@haut-thorenc.com, with the list of allergens to avoid when preparing your meals.We also offer the following activities (at an additional cost and by reservation):
- A horse-drawn carriage safari lasting 1:15.
- A photo lookout: either in the forest for bird-watching or in the plains for mammal watching
- A guide for a day: from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the possibility of living a day “in the shoes” of one of our naturalist guides
Do not hesitate to contact our hosts to make reservations or go directly to our website. Note that for the lookout and “Guide for a day”, the number of spaces is limited.
The Conditions of Your ADVENTURE Vacation :
Our ecolodges are open from May 15 to October 30, these dates being subject to change depending on the weather. If in doubt, do not hesitate to contact us at 09 65 03 49 68.
An ecolodge can accommodate four people (one double bed and two single beds).
When you book for :
- A family of more than 4 people, please contact the Reservation Service on 09 65 03 49 68,
- Multiple families, please make one reservation per family going through to the payment page for each of them.
Stays in lodges are only possible for children aged 6 and over. For families with young children, we offer stays at the Villa Bioclimatique or at the Petit Manoir.
To reduce water consumption and sewage, each ecolodge has a rudimentary bathroom (a watering can of 10 litres of water and an old-fashioned basin). To wash your face, only use the organic soaps that we provide !
In the space dedicated to the lodges, you have two water points and dry toilets, from which we obtain an excellent quality plant compost by adding wood chips.
Near the lodges, you can access, if you prefer, classic toilets and sinks.
Immerse yourself in the heart of the wildlife, in these magical places that are our ecolodges, to live an experience like that of bush camps in Africa. You will have your dinner and your breakfast there with your family while observing the intimacy of the wild animals, your neighbours !
The water in the natural pool is rich in plankton which contributes to the purification process. Consequently, any chemical product is prohibited, including sun creams or oils !
